Always satisfied

Hope you enjoy the read! : )

Will we ever be satisfied?

Is never being satisfied even a bad thing?

I mean, we’re always striving for something right? And if we’re striving for something it’s because we aren’t 100% satisfied with how things are in the present… Right?

Maybe we may be satisfied with life and after a while want more. More friends, more money, more idk, dogs.

I just find it really hard to fathom a life in which I’m satisfied with what I have from a moment on till its end. Can you do that?

“And they lived happily ever after”. How?

I’m really not sure where I’m going with all of this. I think I’m just trying to find an answer myself here.

Maybe telling a story will help us here, and this time, it isn’t about me, it’s about something that was, I believe, a big thing in Brazil a while back.

Some years ago, the wife of a famous Brazilian soccer player called Kaká left him because he was quote on quote “too perfect” (lol). Yes you read that right. She left him, because he was too good.

Everybody shamed her for doing that, as it seems completely illogical, and yes that’s messed up as hell, I mean you’re his WIFE. “Till death do us part ” type of thing.

But the reason I thought of that here was because she definitely was satisfied with her life for a while, and then SO unsatisfied she decided to divorce.

I’m not here to defend her, but she was really going to live the rest of her life unsatisfied like that? She married him and I believe the point of marrying someone is to spend the rest of your life with your partner.

So maybe the point here is: CHOOSE WISELY who you’re marrying.

When I started writing this I didn’t mean for it to be about marriage, but hey here we are.

I’m sure we’ll always want more in life, more from life, more from ourselves, from the people around us. And I believe you should look to always be satisfied with your life, if you aren’t, why don’t you change something? Changing I don’t mean divorce your partner. Please please, if you marry someone, be loyal to them. And make sure you won’t regret marrying someone, relationship is maybe testing, and if you’re sure the person is the one, marry them : )

That’s all I had to write about.

Today’s post is a bit late because I had to go to another city and arrange a few things, but I won’t stop writing here even if the world is ending!

See you tomorrow!
